Couldn't believe it when I saw it earlier today. I mean, what is this trash??? It's amazing how short people's memories are. Seems like so many celebrities, politicians, athletes, or other major figures who are hated during their career suddenly become unanimously beloved people after they retire. "Yeah but you have to respect his career even if you hate him." No the hell I don't. I didn't respect him then, and I'm not gonna respect him now. It's a day like this, a day when everyone is going to put on their respectful faces for Kobe's jersey retirement, when we need horse-gun emoji Twitter guy.
doesn’t bother me at all, I’ll be watching the jersey retirement and hoping that the Lakers can beat GS
He is a hall of fame player that is iconic and had plenty of great battles vs the rockets. Why would they not congratulate him?
I mean it's not causing me to lose sleep at night, but within the realm of sports, I think it's ridiculous.
to each his own I guess it’s just an Instagram post showing respect to an iconic player’s jersey retirement, it’s not like we’re having Kobe Day at the Toyota Center tonight
I can understand your pov if it was some type of humanitarian recognition. This one was about his basketball life.
Because he's a Laker and was never a Rocket?!? A Laker team that has caused the Rockets organization and their fans much despair. A Laker team that has an elitist attitude because they can get any player they want due to the city. Like seriously fack them, they would never do anything for us.
hell no. otherwise they'll do stupid **** like that again. we gotta bring the noise and let them know that rocket fans don't share that view. honestly the entire kobe lovefest has caused me to avoid all sports and especially nbatv. it's nauseating.
Clearly not the same Rockets social media guy that tweeted the gun to the horse’s head when we beat the Mavericks in the playoffs, lol.
