This is exactly my take on that Joel Blank ESPN radio show. I don't know what that other guy was talking about. That was radio talksshow nonsense in the respect he didn't seem very informed at all, but felt compelled to fill up the airwaves with some type of strong take, like its required of his job to do so. Which it probably is. ESPN Rado Fantastic
I thought Joel was largely fair. My main complaint was with his co-host...he didn't even know who the owner of the Rockets was for Christ sake!
Not every way. Could have been a problem with a starter instead of a role player of the bench that plays at positions where we're deep.
Wow. I just listened to that. If D-Mo retweeted his new name is Dumb-Bo because it was filled with untrue propaganda, the other guy on there (not Blank, the other) is woefully misinformed about league rules and has a CRAZY anti-Les/anti-Morey bias and frankly Blank isn't a whole lot better. Motiejunas crossed a line with this retweet. No joke. He's obviously committed to burning bridges with the team that holds his fate in their hands and that has negotiated in good faith and according to the rules of the CBA, as agreed upon by players and owners. If he's "hurt" it's because he's been listening to a fool of an agent that has been giving him terrible advice from the get. I see a bad moon rising. I also think a hard rain's a'gonna fall. And none of it is good news for the player and agent that tried to break RFA because they didn't read the CBA closely enough to understand it.
Whatever happens this just shows all the bad things about the RFA. The new CBA will definitely have the "BJ rights rule". What a time to be alive
So you see it like an anti-Semite? You won't be calling anything here long. These aren't the ESPN boards. That **** doesn't fly here.
Yeah, I made mention in previous post that D-Mo could be flat out lying about events, to smear Rockets and cover his own ass. Anyone familiar with Morey since Obama was elected knows he'd trade Les Alexander if he could for a super star. So that broken-promise claim seemed dramatic. I don't know what went on behind the scenes, probably a misunderstanding. Mostly just saying its been long simmering resentment not some sudden thing
Sorry but as much as I love this team, I cannot say Morey is not self involved in all of this. Both parties are first and foremost looking out for themselves. Not one another. Both parties are no saints. Personally I do not want to destroy a Euro's chances in this league, somebody the Rockets drafted.
This isn't the first time I've heard Travis Johnson talk that way about Morey. He says former players have told him he ain't trustworthy.
