My sanity doesn't depend on how well the Rockets play, or what they do in the offseason. I enjoy the crap out of them, and this board even more so. You can't even begin to imagine how happy I was when the trade to the Lakers was announced. I enjoy intelligent conversations, and it was borderline aggravating to talk basketball with people who idolize someone so much, that it blinds them from having a decent conversation. Let's all remember that Bosh was never really in Morey's plans. The only move that he has made that he probably wouldn't have made is dumping Lin and I don't think very many people here are going to cry about that. Our cap space was getting eaten up by Chandler even if we had got him at a cheaper $10-12MM price tag so I doubt that matching him will ruin the plan. We almost got lucky but now it's back to the plan that they likely had all along.
Given that the Rockets traded Jeremy Lin, it's pretty clear Morey himself believed that Bosh not considering Miami's new offer. Even if his source is Morey, he'd be reporting this exact same thing. otherwise, why would the Rockets trade Jeremy Lin and a 1st rounder for nothing?
Considering it got to the point where many posters started hating on Lin because of YOF or vice versa, CF moderators could have just banned or enforced rules on LOF or LOH threads in GARM. That would saved folks a lot of headaches.
