I think this is right. Why burden themselves with the contract weight? I know free agency is a big thing these days, but with Wade pretty much done, Bosh isn't worth that price. Just bite the bullet, now.
Chris they tried to lowball you earlier. Now they are desperate. Harden, Howard > Wade's knees, McRoberts
Maybe CB4 wants the same love that Lebron was getting? Quick, call everyone you know down at South Beach to park their cars in front of Bosh's house!
Geez, I thought he wanted to just play with Lebron or come to Rockets...now Lebron made his choice...it looks like Wade is going to Chicago. Its the Toronto Situation all over again. Oh well, money talks.
It'd help us a lot if they had their own pick next year. But now they have no incentive to let him go and tank.
at 34, he arguably has a good chance at a good 2-3 year deal to close out his career. at 35... not really sure you get more than 1.
Miami was asking him to take a cut, now they are offering more than us - I don't think this is any way in the bag for us. DD
Yeah, real stupid of them to keep a sure 20/10 guy and still have the potential to be a top 4 team in the East.
FROM: "heya . . .we trying to keep LeBron . .. and well we want you to take this significant cut" TO: "Chris! DAWLING!!! WE LOVE YOU . . Come back!" Rocket River
Other than him choosing his decision for money, how could you turn down a lineup like this? Bev Harden Parson Bosh Howard How can you turn down a line up like that unless he just wants the money.
Miami is doing this only to trade him in the future for something other then letting him walk right now. Bosh, they dont want you, they want what you can give them in a future trade!
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Woj reports Bosh is deciding between Houston and Miami today. Let's take a look at their current rosters <a href="http://t.co/IqV9ugdNuw">pic.twitter.com/IqV9ugdNuw</a></p>— Chris Jackson (@ChrisCJackson) <a href="https://twitter.com/ChrisCJackson/statuses/487700627288387585">July 11, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
If Bosh is serious about winning and making money...Houston is clearly the choice...but if he found his manhood stapled to the ground at American Airlines Arena and all he really wants to do is live in Miami, the Houston loses out on Bosh. That being said...this has everything to do with Miami grasping at straws...and Riley dying to maintain something..
Comparable numbers through 4 years and cost of living is much less in Houston. Add on the fact, that its not even a certainty that Dwayne Wade is coming back. Safe to say. It's in the bag.
