I know this is a Bosh thread..but still.

Well, in the end, Lebron probably did Pat Riley a big favor by hoaxing Bosh and Wade into opting out.

All the b****ing and moaning Wade did with refs when he benifited so often from soft calls always pissed me off. So much that I'm pleased he will end up alone in Miami.

Plus some guys it is fun to hate on.

I know but that doesn't make sense, we could be calling to just find the fourth team in a Pelicans-Rockets-Heat trade.

For Bosh to get max, the Heat to get draft picks, and the Rockets to get a MLE and keep key players there must be a s&t. Why one wouldn't happen is beyond me.

Makes a lot of sense. They don't want to impact 2016 cap space. They have a ton of cap space going into next season. They lack picks and will need them in the future assuming they sign big FA's. And they still need to do something to get TWC some viewers here and there -- IE, at least field a team that you can believe might make it to the play offs.

Morey wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't explore all the options even if Hinkie is his back up plan.

Also, now that Bosh is fully in play Morey will likely try to move multiple players at once (IE, fewer total transactions).

Wade might be acting professional, but deep inside he is beyond ticked. Gonna cost him a lot of money

Bosh needs to know when he's not wanted. Miami would have made a hard play to keep him after the meeting with Lebron.

As a basketball player I don't feel bad for Wade. He has 5 finals appearances, 3 rings, has had the opportunity to play with the most dominating center and small forward of this era, and will be a first ballot HOFer.

I do feel bad that he opted out of all that guaranteed money over the next 2 years though. He might get a farewell contract similar to what he was going to get but that's not a guarantee like the money he turned down was. He'll be loved in Miami forever and is sticking with the sinking ship. His choice.

Is this like last year's "Dwight is still 50/50" debacle? Except this time it's Miami media, and not LA?
