We have plenty of leverage. You don't think multiple teams will take Jones and D-Mo, on rookie deals, for nothing?
If we can find away to keep Beverley, Jones, and Parsons, and sign Bosh, I will personally build a Morey statue out of play-doh and put it in front of the Toyota Center.
12 and 7 with a block on 54% shooting with a 19 PER. 22 years old. 2nd year in the NBA. Come on. Dude has potential.

Good lord some of you ppl are really ignorant. There's internet in Africa morons. He can sign his deal on an iPad
I'd rather get rid of Tjones than Dmo. I think DMo is going to be really good, plus he doesn't kick homeless people and he's a gym rat. I'd like to see us keep Dmo, Canaan, and NJ...And re-sign the sniper from the Vipers...
Houston has a fair amount of leverage as Jones and DMo are nice pieces. Even if it is used to drive down the costs of doing business between teams.
Leverage comes in play if there are mutliple teams who want in on the firesale. With so many cap-rich sucky teams in the league, I think that could drive the price down.
Maybe we can jump in on a Love to the Cavs trade. In order to keep Wiggins they may want Jones with Bennett and Waiters. I'd prefer taking an option where we keep Jones but move Dmo but we may need to move Jones.

I am glad TJones and DMo kept their stocks up. Both have serious potential and should help clear cap space necessary to get deals done. With Howard, Bosh, Parson, Harden, and Beverly as a starting line up. Morey has a great track record in finding a bench out of the free agents out there that would have positive value.
I get that, but he's not good enough to consider passing over Bosh for. If the only way to get Chris Bosh is to lose Terrence Jones I'm not losing any sleep over that. We are not a rebuilding team. Its all out or bust.
This. He has so much potential. He's still getting better and is one of the bright spots for this team. He's josh smith-like on a rookie contract.
