yeah, sounds like Bosh isn't taking a paycut either..so we're looking at everyone except Parsons, Harden, Howard being "on the table".
Apparently they already gave him the max contract to have on hand before he left yesterday or something according to another tweet.
Please just at least keep Jones, I'm for dumping everyone but T. Jones, he has so much potential and could learn a lot from Bosh
do you think they don't have internet/email/fax/cell service in Ghana? Bosh already has the contract in Ghana.
No. More than one team will want to add Asik. We don't need to sweeten that deal too much. It's different with Lin - that will cost us a first rounder at least. DMo and TJones - teams will want them. They'll be very happy to send a restricted second rounder back. So I think we only need to sweeten the Lin deal. And Morey doesn't panic. He is not in a hectic clear deck mode - he is in a "let's see how much I can get out of this" mode. We won't get back too much, but we won't have to pay more than a a first rounder either.
Dont Rockets have to decide to match Parsons tomorrow? Is it possible to create enough space by then and sign Bosh? Or is it one or the other now?
Morey is a genius who has finally had some luck turn in his favor. The roster flexibility he has built has been critical to every big move that we have made, and that cannot be undersold. Of the players, I think Howard was really the key. Obviously, Morey made a great trade to snag Harden but he still had little choice in the matter and it was a no-brainer to sign max offe ASAP. When Howard chose to come here last year over LA and others, that made our squad legit contenders and now a guy like Bosh has a perfect landing spot where he can go back to being a PF and have a great center and wing at his side. Parsons also fits in perfectly as a complementary wing now.
