That depeds on Bosh. If he wants the max, no. We'd have to cut everybody but our 4 main guys (Harden, Howard, Beverly and keep Parsons offer open) and even then he'd still have to take a minor pay cut. If he is willing to take a little bigger paycut we could keep him, and/or Daniels.
Here's hoping that the Lin trade to Philly brings back some of the guys they took this year in the 2nd round and that we can sign some worthwhile vets on the cheap. Maybe Jameer Nelson as a PG? Maybe Michael Beasley? Shawn Marion for the room exception? The most fascinating part of this will be to see how Morey fills out the roster.
I dunno. Are backs are against the wall and other GMs know it. We may have trouble getting 4 players out without getting taken advantage of
Jones is not even close to being the player that Bosh already is on either side of the ball and honestly doesn't even have the potential to be close to what Bosh brings to the team. He is the piece we have been missing for years. A true PF that spaces the floor with consistency and plays defense. Extremely excited to hear the news about Lebron and can't wait do next season.
IMO this means everyone minus Beverley, Parsons, Harden and Howard....which means Bosh is taking a slight paycut.
And if he's STILL hitting those long mid-range jumpers, then you just gotta tip your cap... Or, you know, send a double-team (but that's a different topic for another time)
If you're not Dwight, Harden, Parsons, and MAYBE Beverley... your ass is getting shopped right now. That must suck.
Nice! What Parsons did was bush league, but I want Houston to match the offer just to stick it to Cuban.
