Anyone arguing against Bosh the player, simply doesn't know basketball.

    Outstanding player and perfect fit.

The ONLY concern here is age, and maybe the hard cap, that is it.

I can't wait for this Lebron nonsense to finish so that we can see if we nab CB4. I can't imagine a better fit for our team, even if we are overpaying for him and dipping into tax territory with Parsons re-signing with Bird rights. It still opens up our MLE and BAE to get a couple of vets and 3 and D players (or bring some Euro talent over). Bosh would be a plus defender by Howard and close off a lot of the weak side scoring that plagued us last year. He wouldn't even need to be an aggressive rebounder. And on offense, his range is already superior to Jones and would be just one more threat in either PnR or inside-out schemes. He's a better two-way player than Love, even if older, and is pretty much a perfect fit.

It makes so much sense that it couldn't possibly happen lol... could it??

(Private) Decision 2.0 needs to happen already. I've wasted too much time waiting for something (anything) to happen!

I know. Miami had to wait all those years to build chemistry before they were championship contenders. Oh wait..... You're right lists not sign Bosh, re-sign parsons and be stuck with this team for the next couple years

Seems pretty finite at this point.... LBJ goes to Miami, then Bosh goes to Miami. LBJ goes to Cleveland, Bosh goes to Houston.

There was an article recently about why Chris Bosh shoot's the 3-ball now--it was actually because Shane Battier pointed out that it is a statistically superior shot to the long 2.

Bosh is the perfect fit for the Rockets offensively, defensively, and IN THE LOCKER ROOM! He is not a goof ball like Howard and not lackadaisical like Harden--he knows what it takes to win the -ship. He will be our older veteran who can show this young team the way.

Add Bosh, re-sign Parsons, add a 3 and D player on the wing, and replace Lin with anybody and you've got yourself a championship contender!

Again they have the best player on the world... so dont compare us to Miami.

Even with Bosh, we are not winning a title until Harden becomes "that dude", and once he becomes the elite player that i know he can be we won't need Bosh.

You do know Howard will be turning 29 and be playing in his 11th season this upcoming season correct, you can agree Howard only has 2 or 3 years left of playing at his prime as well I assume?

At the end of last season we left the playoffs with as a first round exit team. So far this offseason we'v added Nick Johnson to our roster. We have lost Asik, Garcia, Hamilton. We will soon undoubtedly re-sign Parsons to a 12+ million a year deal, and Daniels to a 1+ million deal.

So we loose all our cap space, key players, Howard ages, and add nothing, you think this is a better route to go then to add a third star player, and a MLE player?

You think Howard will be happy with another first round exit? You think Howard won't leave after we win nothing? You think Harden won't be leaving after Howard leaves and we have nothing?

We have to win NOW. We do NOT have anymore time to sit around cross our fingers and hope our young players grow as Howard will be aging.

actually we have only lost Asik, and Howard was brought here to win for us not wait for another player to help him... If we have another first round exit it won't be because we dont have the talent.

Dumping the entire roster outside of 4 starters and then signing a soft PF on the wrong side of 30 with 100% of the cap room the team will ever have isn't exactly the best way to win IMO. This isn't NBA2k, you can't turn injuries and fatigue off and play with just a starting 5. With zero depth you'd be banking on no injuries whatsoever and your new soft PF playing better than he has in years if you planned on doing any winning.

Are you forgetting that Asik is traded? Imagine watching Terrence Jones guard Aldridge in a playoff series again. You cannot be picky when adding a third all-star (Bosh).

Even if we don't use our cap space to sign dragon turtle Bosh, we'd have a hard time signing other solid pieces when people like Hayward's going for 15 mil a year.

Just saying right here and now, Bosh is gonna be the Scottie Pippen of this Rocket's generation.

He's been trash?? Are you serious?? And does he produce? Why don't you do the research and come back with some solid numbers (or better yet, listen to the posters who have already POSTED his numbers) instead of stubbornly sticking to your guns despite all the evidence to the contrary?

What if we keep all the young guys who 'need to grow', and add Bosh?

Significant young players on our roster: Harden, Parsons, Jones, Beverley.

I don't see the harm in effectively trading Motie and Lin for Bosh - please explain the issue here? We can keep Daniels, Canaan, Covington etc if we want.
It is madness nit to snzp up Bosh if he is willing to sign up. A great defensive big man with championship experience can only help the development of someone like Jones?

People that say Bosh is an average players are probably the same guys that say Love is a great player. Guys that average 40 in a month, with 20 rebs in a losing team that continues to play atrocious defense because your "superstar" doesn´t even try to contest, he just prays others miss and goes all out on the reb to show on the boxcore.

Same exact thing Harden does, never mind making it easy for others on both ends, just give 110% effort when you have the ball on a isolation play or a steal on a passing lane.

Bosh is not that guy, just look at what Bosh was in Toronto and the player he is now. Do you think Bosh can´t do what he used to do? Or is it that he does what the team needs?
You can say that the dude is awkward, weird etc, just don´t question his ability to be one of the best players in this league.
