Rockets giving away over 1,000 tickets February 28th

Anyone going to meet at the BUS about 5? Time to loosen the lips before the game!!

 

We need as many people who can go to this game. Its Red Rowdy Night guys. We need to bring A LOT of people and energy. I'm excited.

 

Man.. sounds like a good deal.

 

Who gets off work that early? I'm sure they won't check on this, but you also have to be 18 years old to get tickets so that leaves out high schoolers. I don't know what kind of group that narrows it down to.

The 7pm Thursday night game against Dallas 2 weeks ago didn't even fill up until halfway through the 2nd quarter. And you expect people to show up at 6?

Every Houstonian had an opportunity in the summer to get free rowdy tickets for the entire season. How many people showed up to audition? 70 total!

Great feedback or not, I'll only believe it when I see it. But then again, it's only 500 tickets, I'm wasting my time on nothing

 

if i would have found out sooner i would have switched to the morning shift that day and gone!

 

I may head out there to photograph the gathering.... should be fun!

Looked at toyotacentertix.com, not that many people are going tonight.

 

I got mine.

The whole Rowdies section was going crazy the whole game. It's like they (we) were desperate to have something to cheer about. Pretty disappointing because the crowd was really trying to get into it.

 

my cousins, miguel, and I got tixs with ease. mig got there at aroubd 620 and I got there around 640. mig said that people had to wacky stuff to get tixs and he waited for us so all of us can do something. when we were walking in, a rockets rep came up to us and asked if we can be rowdy and we were like "yea", and thought we couldn't and I was like "dude we went to SA and Dallas is that good enough for u?" and gave us the tixs. 4th time sitting with them, and always an awesome time

 

wasn't this the easy half of our season?

Thankgod for the Aggies game, I would have hated to follow another loss to one of the worst teams in the league in PBP.

 

too bad it was a horrible game. it would have been a game to remember

 

I have to say I was impressed with the Rowdy section "guests" - much much much more active than the last time there were discounted rowdy tix. I was worried that we'd get a bunch of sitters just in it for the free seats, but 80% of them were up and cheering til the end. Pretty impressive, it's tough to stay strong through such a rout.
