This is common. Hell, he might have actually sold out Upper Bowl, and is slowly working through the line to see who he can convince to buy lower bowl, to free up more. Upper Bowl was near sell-out after Chris Paul. Your chance to get special treatment for STHs has expired. The added seats are now part of the newbie/bandwagoner pool. By waiting so long, you no longer get the "skip the line" treatment of STHs. This is why others Dave2000 mentioned were placed on a waiting list long ago. Because they first had to wait for the STH renewal period to end. Question: If we are facing a STH sell-out in Upper Deck. How would you propose it is handled? Seems reasonable to put everyone on hold, and try to convince some to buy Lower Bowl. Nah. I'm just trying to follow you. You explain Face vs STH rate in a very odd way to me, so I just said how STH through the years use the word Face, so you can correct me to your meaning. Anyhoot, like I say. Doesn't matter. The info you are giving us is: Tilman did not jack up STH rates. But you speculate that he might jack up Single Ticket Rates for Silver, Gold, Platinum games. Is that an accurate understanding of what you meant?
The resell market for playoff tickets would have made you at least a $1000 profit if you sold all of your playoff tickets. I’m sure resellers see an opportunity to at least take a shot at finals tickets and Lebron next year. Btw, good seats in the upper level are hard to find. I had to settle for my 3rd choice. I put down the $500 in January....January!
If everyone is concerned about keeping bandwagoners and brokers at bay, then limiting new seats to tenured STHs (add-ons and relocations, essentially) would be a clear and obvious solution to this.
Pretty much won't bother going to regular season games haha. Not worth it if prices go up more than 20%.
Flashseats was AMAZING for STH this playoffs. No low bids, no sellers fees. The bidding sucks for buyers but is great for sellers
Too be honest the ****ing Mayor should be building a coalition like the ones used to attract Super Bowls to houston. Lebron to Houston would instantly make Houston a legit World Class City. It will mean hundreds of millions for this city.
People speculated that we would see price/cost increases in various places since Tilman took on significant debt to acquire the Rockets. This development is certainly not dissuading me from that fear.
Would be nice having ESPN front line us every night. Crazy that the two biggest stars per Nike and Addidas would be on the same squad. That would be a ton of pub.
Fertita will spend, which is something Les never did. We get a player like Lebron.. the demand will be there. It feels like they're taking a wait and see approach.
Yeah, other ppl weren't 17yr STHs like me. You waited too long. And now that you are facing a waiting list, you are complaining and looking for sympathy. An experienced person on the subject is not giving you any, so you are ignoring any explanation that isn't about Tilman screwing you over. Per section: NBA owners don't jack up STH pricing to some STHs and not others. He's already set price for this year, per the pricing you got. If you are so mad about the waiting list, and only want to discuss your theory, and don't want to discuss possible reasons for a waiting list that don't involve jacking up prices for waiting list people, then just say so. Maybe he will start two STH pricing models (grandfathered STH pricing vs bandwagoner STH pricing), but until he does, it hasn't happened, and seems far-fetched to me. This just looks like typical GARM Complaining If you start a thread in the GARM bashing the Rockets Org wrt business, everyone cheers If you start a thread in the Hangout whining about a company screwing you, many will question your complaint If you start a thread in D&D whining about a company screwing you, good luck
