First. The school I had to take a leave of absence from is for a recording arts program. I've written poetry and songs since I was a child and happened to write and sing for the song & show I've been featured on as a guest... a show that I might not be able to attend because of my eyes. But yes, that is a great idea to let people know there if I'm able to go. I'm not getting paid, and I can't give out tickets. I haven't made the purchase yet, but it's not for cds. They're for music beats. They're very cheap, and since I can't afford to do much for Clutchfans since yall have been the main ones that have donated, I planned on writing a song and recording it since I have access to the studio at my school.

About the show I was on, which was 4 years ago.. not 3.. and taped over 5 years ago... the money reported wasn't nearly as much as received.. minus federal taxes and california taxes.. we had enough to get a house, which we eventually had to sell.. I'm not going to get into why she's my ex.. why I have full custody of our child etc. and because of confidentiality agreements, I'm not going to get into more about the money received from the show. My savings after my divorce went towards help with keeping our family business open, without knowing that I was losing my vision. A lot has happened.. just like a lot has happened to everyone else in 5 years. Your reaction to what you saw is exactly why I wasn't so forthcoming about my past.. because presently, I'm losing my vision at a rapid pace, and I don't have the funds to cover it. I can't touch any of the money that's been donated. I was spending $10 for 5 beats so I can write songs, which one was going to be dedicated to Clutchfans.

I'm home, can't work, pointless trying to watch tv, in pain etc.... but life still goes on, and writing songs is how I plan on making a living. The money that you, and everyone else has donated out of the kindness of your hearts went to a great cause. It has really helped me, and I'll forever be grateful. You shouldn't feel regretful, because I assure you what happened 5 years ago has nothing to do with what's going on right now. My relationship with God would never allow me to trick or scam people out of money.. before that I'd be the first blind porno star or something and make money that way. I'll never be too "down and out" to stoop low like that.

As you can see in my sig, I'm good at pulling up information on people (it's part of my job). I do believe you. Personally, I went from having a decent nest egg to nothing when the economy tanked and I lost my job at the time. I'm sure you would have the same reaction if somebody asked you for money and you found out they came into a lot of it in the recent past. Thank you for the quick response.

Thanks for the response Vance. From one musician to another (I'm sure there are plenty on here) that's a good way to pass the time. :)

Someone should figure out a way to get this on Reddit so it will get more exposure.

I also received a message from moderators on their site saying there has to be an account older than 90 days when requesting donations

Have you tried leaving video responses? Here is a tutorial on how to

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBC4Cq-wU0I

This could get your video a lot more views, hopefully. I would do it my self but i would have to have your video uploaded on my channel, which i don't know how to copy your video down as a file on my computer. Sorry i did try though. But yeah, if you could try leaving your video as a video response to somebody like RayWilliamJohnson's video's or any other of the big youtube users video's that might help your video get out more.

I'll continue to look for ways to get that vid around man, good luck and i'll stay praying.

Wait, I'm confused though before I make this decision to donate. Is he LOSING his vision or has he already lost it? Can he see a lil bit to type the paragraph's he's typed on here recently or is someone else typing for him? WHATS GOING ON?

My vision is 20/400.. I'm losing it, but havnt lost it completely. I will without the surgeries eventually. I have technology I received from LightHouse Of The Blind that helps me when I'm on the computer. My computer speaks what is typed.
