Rockets draft Dillon Brooks with 45th pick (then trade him to Memphis)

Crap... on the bright side... Memphis should have an early pick next year with carter and ZBO going to the dubs

 

I'm cool with the move. We need all the salary space we can muster . Even though a 2nd round contract isn't guaranteed , you wouldn't want to draft a guy and then have to worry about how to keep him and free up space at the same time . Better to put off the pick until next year .

Plus there is a decent chance the pick will be better than 45

 

I watched the game where he beat Lonzo balls team last year and thought he was clutch for sure

 

Can we get one of those thread... you know...how great Dillion was and how much we'll miss him...Who is this guy

 

Man. He was a great college player. Seemed like great value

 

It's a 2nd round pick. Why not just throw this one in?
