What was on the line was all the hope and promise, alas never fulfilled, that bringing in TMac brought. It was the beacon that there was a strong pulse pul-pul-pulsating in RocketLand. It made me, us, a believer(s) until the last bone-crunching day...

    If...if...if only (sigh)

It was one of the all-time great NBA moments. The Minny game was a great gut-check nite and a gutting of a promising TPups team.

I was going to be extremely disappointed in this board if this poll was any closer than 90/10 in favor of T-Mac... and/or feel old.

Should really be 100/0, because this isn't a matter of opinion -- it's a fact that what McGrady did was more impressive.

So I leave only somewhat satisfied.

As far an individual feat, yes. As far as a team no.

It's time people stop hating on T-mac who has been retired for a long time and just embrace him as part of Rockets lore.

He is one of many great players to have donned a Houston uniform.

Not even close. Tmac's one won by a mile. It was against Spurs and he was absolutely unstoppable. He single handily destroyed Spurs team in 35 seconds.

Lol, like Imma take any opinion from you on McGrady seriously...

Objectively speaking, what McGrady did was more impressive. Yes, he's one player rather than a team. But what McGrady did was far more impressive even for an individual player than what the Rockets did on Saturday was for a team. If anything, the fact that he did it alone makes it even more impressive, let alone the fact that he scored more in less time than the whole Rockets team (one of the most prolific scoring/shooting teams in recent history) on Saturday.

I'm sorry tinman, I know you lose sleep over McGrady having worn Rockets red, but this is one you need to let rest. There is no debate to be had here.

It was impressive, so was never leading any team to a playoff victory when you are a talented All Star. He's the modern day Boogie Cousins.

Lolsauce, OK. We get it, you hate McGrady (or at least pretend to). As I'm sure you know, how good or bad McGrady may be is 100% irrelevant to the discussion at hand, brolka dot. I'm not falling for your bait.

It was an incredible TEAM comeback, but Tmac's was an individual effort -- for the most part.

Oh and it was against the Spurs, not Minnesota. We should have never been down by 17 to begin with against that team.

The comeback against the wolves isn't comparable to the tmac performance since it's a team thing

It is more comparable to our comeback against the clips in game 6, and still not even close

I guess only T-Mac can hit game winners against the Spurs.

Imagine if Tinman came in and said Tmac was better? This place will meltdown.
