Myles turner is the perfect fit in this team. Stretch that can play c/pf that can shoot the 3. Guy can move up and down the court very well without the ball. He can run the fast break pretty nice.
With Rockets 5 out system, Johnson's 3P will get back to career average, or better. And Johnson is better at attacking rim than BMac and House. Especially in transition. Clemons only able to play garbage minutes does not support him. Even vs. bad teams, teams will still attack him on switches. He will always be a huge defensive liability at 5'9.
I sure hope ur right about the shooting, house and Mac not gonna cut it, we need a reclamation project
Drock yolo pippenlimp are all hipocrits. They spout on and on and on about how wonderful and blessed we are to have small ball and then rip the hell out of a fantastic pure shooter who averaged 30 pts per game and led the nation in college because he is too small. Guess what, his size difference at pg is no worse than Tucker’s size difference at center. It’s actually less and like Tucker he makes up for it in different aspects of his game (steals, 3’s, etc.). Quit begging for small ball and then crying that your pg is too short!!!
I’d like to see the Rockets target a vertical lob threat who at least has a mid range shot. I know the odds of getting a player like that are slim though.
I’m a big Clemons fan, but I can acknowledge that he still needs another year. I’m not worried about him being switched onto because we kind of want them to take a two pointer anyways... and even though he’s short, he holds his own. That said he still needs to stay out of foul trouble even on the perimeter, he uses his hands too much. Also his shooting is streaky. but in a year or two, I can see him over rivers. He needs to hit 40 percent from 3 and nail that deep 3 to stay on the floor.
Aren't teams rosters being expanded to 17 for Orlando. Is the 2 additional spots only available to 2-way players? I was under the impression that TJ could just be added with one of the 2 spots after 15. If that's not the case, It's hard to believe the rockets waiving any of the active 15 on the roster whose contracts are guaranteed to make room. Is this correct? @BimaThug
can't speak for roco, but tuck's been in foul trouble i think all our clippers games this season. in any case, zebras know we're thin up front and can hurt us there while still keeping our stars in the game to keep the playoff viewers
Don't get why not too long ago morey blame himself for not getting harden enough help but wanna sign Tyler Johnson? Makes no sense, stop giving harden scraps he deserves better.
