http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/15/sports/basketball/15nba.html?pagewanted=all I thought this Lin story was fairly interesting.

Yeah I saw him in summer league a bit last year and thought he was a decent player... someone who would be a good 10th guy on the bench. Maybe not regular rotation, but a good fill in. Plus, he's pretty basketball savvy if I remember correctly from his time in college.
Awesome! I like cheering for this guy in GS for some reason. The fans there loved it when he checked in. It's like cheering for the 12 year old playing bball with the high school varsity team
Actually he is a Taiwanese and in fact the Chinese fans might not like him (hope it is not true) I am from China.
Agree. In my opinion, he has high BB IQ and pretty decent defense. 4th quarter highlights from 2010 summer league game vs. John Wall <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/whVEiYap1F4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That is just crap. He is more Taiwan American or Chinese American than local Taiwanese Besides couple of Taiwanese Players play in the CBA You should know that
! dude he is good....he's good look him up youtube him... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvkXmMcGfLo You be the judge.
I watch some of his games at GS and he had more people cheering him on then Curry. Every time he was on the floor the crowd would go nuts. He was GSWs' fan favorite.
(My 3rd post in this thread, I'm not THAT interested in this) I did like his defensive effort from what I saw. Didnt give up any ground, very pesky. Its "easier" for bigs like Chuck Hayes to find a niche based on IQ and fundamentals. Guards are a dime a dozen in that regard. He can be like a guard version Mark Madsen. Not a rotation player, someone to plug in on occasion.
I know you're probably joking, but the Rockets don't want to lose the Chinese market. This is their first season without Yao Ming. Picking up the only Chinese player left in the NBA is purely a marketing move.
Dude is smart with them books tho..and IM ASiAN but i dont know...HARVARD shiii thats hard to get in..LOL gotta be super duper smart.
