It's not my money. Do it. Love can rebound too. Rockets need a full Caucasian for their championship aspirations.
lmao I once saw a BR update, didnt click on it but made a thread "Tyler Ennis Groin Injury" but it wasn't our Tyler Ennis it was a Tyler Ennis in the NHL lmao
I “Love” how the article mentions that Love hasn’t demanded a trade and that Cleveland must be blown away by a trade offer. Problem with these type of rumors is that Love can’t be traded anywhere until January 23rd due to signing the extension this offseason. Players that sign extensions can’t be traded for six months after signing. Still got about 6 weeks before Love becomes available.
To be fair though, he could really help the rebounding issue. And that is a BIG issue. That said, there probably are better fits out there to fix that as well. I am hot and cold on Kevin Love. If the Rockets got him, what does that mean? Kevin Love at center with PJ at PF? Capela at C with Love at PF and our defensive anchor in PJ off the bench? Feels like to maximize the Rockets lineup they need to shore up the SF spot. Which is why Butler was a good fit.
just offer them 4 picks, Gordon,Knight, Hartenstien, Clark... Package see if they bite. Gordon would probably work well with there new rookie point guard, who knows, i mean why would they want to build around Love. Rockets window is slowly closing seal tight, this could be the last draw.
I would trade Gordon (to a 3rd team for a younger asset), Knight and a pick for Love and Hood. Don't know if they would bite. Wouldn't matter if Love is starter material, when we are expecting him to fill Gordon's role.
In 6 weeks would Hood be available too? EG and Knight for Love and Hood I think it works money wise? At least we would have a 6’8 wing who could contribute. I wonder how picks it would take to “blow them away”. I’m obviously getting desperate.
For me, considering it would probably require us to trade Gordon and pick/s, i'd gladly pass. I understand we can't be picky at this point but while i think Love is a good player, i don't think all things considered is what we need.
If we are gonna do a stupid trade, I'd rather do one for Hayward, though I suspect that's off the table now.
My goodness. Are you actually serious? Ryan Anderson was UNPLAYABLY bad for the majority of last season. How do we miss someone who's shooting slump was so bad he stop shooting? Defense was even worse
If he was a bit more durable I would love the idea. Now.... Eh. I do think starting Love at PF and then sliding tuck to the SF role would do a lot for us though.
