When you are down 2-3 of your top 6 every night of course your bench is going to struggle. Our first guys off the bench should be Lin, Asik, and Garcia.... When we resume that rotation, the bench will be a different story.

    Garcia isn't hitting 3's. Casspi won't take 3's he'd rather drive, D-Mo and Smith can't defend anyone. What's not to like ?

Suns got over on us, Morey has to trust players like that to grow sometimes he knew our system Instead they go hard after casspi in the summer who was on the bench before with more turnovers. Casspi is a less polished version of Marcus Morris.

he would've been needed in that OKC series too when delfino rested because we didn't need size just guys who could shoot and run the floor, another thing l like about Morris he takes care of the ball never really turns it over, he works hard on his game every summer

Morris is a nice player but was traded to open room for better players (cap and rotation) not the 2nd round pick. If one really wanted to cry just look at the Spurs' small forward and think about him on our team (he was there when we drafted Morris) -If one wants to talk about the could have and should haves. We thought Morris was more than he will ever be... (all-star / match up nightmare) when is a average role player and took 3 years to become that's. That is just part of the fun of being a Rockets' fan.

I thought casspi played well. He beat Nowitzki he got open but didn't get the ball. His teammates made him a worse player last night.

Bench outscored 30-14. 4/15 FG and 1/6 3P. Funny how people still think Rondo will solve all our problems.

Our bench was running on three guys who played 46 minutes total. The Kings bench used six guys who played 75 minutes. For such a young team, this Rockets squad shouldn't have this many injuries. We've never been at full strength since the start of the season. Combined with inadequate coaching, this team is lucky to have the record it currently has.

If we had Rondo, he'd pull an Asik and demand a trade because there is no way he'd accept the lack of PG freedom here.

With Lin and Asik coming off the bench, it's strong. With Lin starting in place of Beverly, and Asik MIA, it's weak.

I sure wouldn't mind trading Asik for a good backup center and a good 3 and D wing though.

Ain't nothing funny. Rondo has averaged better than 11 assists his last 3 seasons. To put things into perspective Beverley has not had a single double digit assist game this season. Lin has had 1 and Harden leads the way with 3. Last time I checked assists do lead to points. Rondo WOULD solve a lot of our problems by getting all of our players easier looks including our bench players. Furthermore he's a feisty little prick that doesn't back down. The junkyard dog type of player we sorely lack on this team full of passive players.

There's a reason why Rondo was regarded as one one the top PG's in the league before he went down. He wouldn't solve all of our problems but he is the answer to a lot of them. Very few players make their teammates better in this league. I'm a firm believer that Rondo IS one of them without a doubt.

Casspi I would give him 5.5 to 6/10 and Garcia is a measly 3 out of 10

not until mchale play them. they can never have experience if you don't put them in to the game. just look at how many bench were used on kings vs rockets.

They've already shown they could light it up. What do you think happened between now and then that changed?

Morey did pretty terrible job constructing the bench. Casspi showing why he never got minutes on an awful Cavs team. Garcia useless when he doesn't hit 3s. No real back up shooting guard to spell Harden.

We spent the entire offseason trying to get Dwight here. Not many good backup SGs on the market. Be happy we're complaining about backups and not starters, thanks to Morey.
