Thing is we show up one game. Next game they dont have their game going. Its really easy to stop the rockets. Stop harden from driving in, or attack the paint when howard out.
The Rockets literally give up they have no fight. The fire and the passion that the team had last year is gone most nights they barely show up and its amazing that we are still 5th in the west.
Just so I'm clear... We are talking about the the guy with the longest streak of games played (98 IIRC) on the current roster? Lin just can't catch a break with "fans" like you, can he? Tried to play through injury during playoff and was bashed for hurting the team more than helping (FWIW I thought it was a bad decision on Lin's part). Now he wants to be healthy before he returns, and someone thinks he needs to "man up"?
I think it's hormones. After he runs a little bit he gets better and seems to have problems concentrating. Only thing that works is to eat raw meat, raw eggs, sushi.
Would you stop posting not only foolish but disrespectful drivel? Lin gets bloodied, beaten and banged around in games going up against bigger guys with regularity so stop the garbage. If he's out he can't play with effectiveness and it would be selfish as well as hurt the team long-term for him to come back and reinjure himself and have him out for even a longer amount of time.
Very inconsistent group of guys, and the injury bug has bit us hard. We are still 5th in the West, 7 above .500, with almost 55 more games to go. Long season. But hopefully we start wheeling and dealing and get some much needed help in here, because garcia, brooks, and even casspi dont do it for me night in and night out.
Guys who are in so much pain that they can't stand up straight probably won't add much to the offense. Lin, if you recall, came back to play in the playoffs and was less than at his best.
Don't worry about the people calling him back early. It's all desperate knee jerking. Nobody expected to lose this badly. Lin was relegated to the bench yet people still expect him to come back and save the day. He's only a difference maker when he's healthy.
There is no question those players would have helped. We are assuming that with notrade that we will get the Asik of old. Are we? Is he going to continue to pout? If the answer is yes, then we definitely need to trade him because is just $8M tied up in a dead horse.
Do you have any idea of how ridiculous your post is? Every back injury is different, you don't just man up. Sometimes people can't even move inches without horrible pain.
He just does suck a lot, as most rational fans knew. Lin is our 6th guy, Asik is our 7th. Injuries hurt. They'll be back, and we'll be much better off.
