Asik and Lin are not normally not bench player so he has a point.

Keep in mind that we might not even get that for Omer later on.

this team needs depth and a defensive stalwart. omri and cisco are not consistent deep threats. excited for canaan though, i think he will be able to provide this role next year

Bench is weak because we have some injured pansies like Lin and a disgruntled Asik

Once they man up and come back to play with heart, we should be ok

I wasn't sure about Lin but its been the same story since the playoffs last year he goes out for every minor injury. I am one of his critics but his offense can be greatly used on nights like tonight. He just needs to man up.

The starters sucked tonight. Stop knee jerking and get over it.

I'll keep another thing in mind. The problem could lie deeper than just the bench.

GM and Front Office/Ownership/Coach and players all have different philosophies on how to contend

Exactly, my point. Lin is very weak mentally and seems like he is weak physically too. A small injury keeps him out for ages and then he gets rusty when he gets back and it's starting from scratch all over.

He needs to man up and play through some of these injuries.....

Thats very true, but those things aren't really as fixable as the players. We can only concentrate on what we have a hold on.

Grade 1 knee sprain is hardly "minor". Nor is back spasms. He wasn't cleared by the medical staff, so it's not really a choice.

As for "mentally" weak, seriously, you're way past stretching. None of us know the guy personally. What I do know is that you don't get from being undrafted and cut twice to a legitimate NBA player by being "weak".

Then he is extremely injury prone to be serviceable.

until you have back spasms, you don't know what "minor injury" is.

again, the issue is that you have a coaching staff that relies heavily on the starters except the 4. if the bench do not get quality minutes and enough minutes, they are always going to be hot and cold.

because of the lack of team offense, you see players standing around watching. you also see a starting five that had just 7 assists.

if you want heart, you have to bring in players that will show you heart. go get tyler hansbrough to be the backup 4/5. rather have him than "stretch 4s" shooting 7 three pointers.

Tell that to Harden and Howard during the regular season last year or the flu bug that drops other teammates this year. If a few games is ages then......haha:rolleyes:
