Smith posted this recently on his Instagram, the pic could be older but his desire to return to the league is fairly recent.
I'm still waiting to see what happens with RFA JaMychal Green in Memphis Not as a piece here, but the ramifications on the roster if he returns as expected Either Doc or Cod alluded to keeping an eye on this situation ... I think it's related to Tyreke Evans He signed a bargain deal for 1yr at only $3.3M They swapped ZBo & Vince with Kings for Zeke & McLemore Jeff Green left, but they drafted Rabb They also have yet to bring back Green or Tony Allen Once Parsons is out injured again, this team is razor thin, even with JaMychal in the fold: Gasol / Wright / Martin Green / Davis / Rabb Parsons / Ennis / Daniels Evans / Daniels / Selden Conley / Harrison / Baldwin If either Gasol or Conley miss any chunk of games, they could fall deep into the lotto as Twolves & Nuggets pass them by Tyreke Evans could be a great deadline pickup for a young non-rotation piece like Onuaku if Grizz are in tank mode and playing youngsters Similar to the situation which allowed us to pick up LouWill for Brewer last year Evans could be another Smoove-type reclamation project that might pay big dividends in the playoffs He could become Paul's primary backup at PG, bringing size, penetration and scoring as a hybrid Point Forward off the bench And he could still play a lot at 3, allowing Harden to spend less time there in small-ball lineups Just imagine this new lineup when teams try to go super small: Melo Harden Reke EGo CP3 Those 5 can match buckets with anybody, GS included
I'd gladly take josh smith as some insurance. Hell he could even play some small minutes. If nothing else he could be a good defender. Feel like smith really has some potential he just doesn't know how to use it

I'd think he'd rather go somewhere that he can get minutes. For a 4th (non-playing) guard, Jason Terry fits the bill
pretty much defines a player with absolutely nothing left. Too bad for him (too bad, I don't care about D-Will).
Ariza looks like he's wearing the Nike Air Vapormax in Triple Black. Two variants of this shoe were released, March 26th 2017 (first Vapormax introduced on Air Max Day 2017) and another June 20th 2017. He likely wouldn't be hanging with him practicing during the season. Although it is possible Ariza had these shoes slightly before release to general public, this picture most likely is from this summer taking their schedules into consideration.
The Rockets have always been Bargain hunting. We've been bargain hunting since the tandem of Morey and Les took over. Of course that is until we find a one dimensional sharpshooting power forward. Then we throw all the big bucks at him. Poor Bullard. He would have been loaded if he signed with Morey.
