Facing GSW earlier would be better. Less wear and CP3 in earlier rounds.

They need to find a way to get Harden more help before he makes the dreaded demand.....

3rd seed isn’t too far away, but yea easily we should be 6th or 7th seed if we can’t get 3rd seed

I'm liking what i hear about Harden and the potential of bringing back an old friend. The man deserves to be pissed off. We went from a wcf's to a team that is a shell of its former self. In the words of JVG. We need to get rid of the "knuckleheads". Bring back high IQ players please Morey!

I hadn't thought about this, but you're right... we'll be the healthiest we're gonna be in round 1 or 2.

Portland got Hood for two seconds (2021, 2023)two fillers. That seems like decent value for both teams. Portland needed wing help as well. I was concerned that Portland would outbid us for a better 3, but it seems like they have the guy they wanted now.

I wonder if this BK to Memphis rumor is legit. If so we should have the flexibility to make multiple moves as the earlier report stated. Portland added good wing depth for 2 future seconds. Morey should be able to do much better.

Your defense can't be this bad when you're just missing one player...

When you have a defensive system that is all about 1 guy guarding the rim, and he is injured and irreplaceable, why would it not be so bad??
Of course the defence is struggling without the main cog - who else can cover all the short dudes?

He tore his Achilles his last year in Portland and he was very good on D and three point shooting before that injury but he hasn’t been the same defensive player since.

He’s still pretty decent cause he tries hard and has shot 38% on threes the last two seasons.

I think he would be a great buyout get but he’s not that pre Achilles Portland guy.

If you look at any of the elite teams in the league, if their best defensive player sits out, they don't drop to a 26th worst defense. Capela won't really improve anything that much. Plus, he's been a pretty bad ISO defender and has been slow near the rim this year as well.

The only way Houston is offering a first to get off of Knights contract is to facilitate a bigger trade already agreed on. There is no way they would do that to save a few bucks as a stand-alone deal. Knight could become valuable as an expiring next year anyway. There will always be a team looking to trade long term contracts for short term ones to free up cap space.
