I have a hard time thinking any team ever historically could beat these five in a fight - these are some of the baddest dudes ever in the NBA.

    Calvin Murphy
Mad Max - he really was one of the craziest players ever
    Artest
    Barkley
    Oakley

...and I would have guys like Chuck Hayes, Larry Smith, and Kevin Willis coming off the bench.

Cmon guys, you have to go with Calvin Murphy. I'll take a trained boxer in a fight over anyone else that is suppose to be a 'tough guy'.

Wow, that was a tougher choice than I thought. Especially, if you have to pick just one. I went with Artest slightly over Calvin just because he's got more muscle and that touch of crazy in him.

My memory might be a little fuzzy on this, but as tough as all these guys are I'd have a hard time saying that anyone on the list is/was tougher or more intimidating than Moses Malone.

You do recall that Artest ran into the stands and assaulted half of the Palace, right? I don't doubt Ron Ron has done some hard stuff, either.

And I don't think he said Mad Max was the one who stabbed the dude in the heart?

Artest hit a dude for throwing beer in his face. Max knocked a dude in the crowd out for talking to much. Also, off court Ron has been an angel. Max on the other hand has been charged with anything you could imagine for a basketball player. Drugs, Assault, Domestic Violence, Alcohol, Child Support Failure.

Anyone putting Artest over Max is obviously newer to the Rockets and has no frame of refrence. That dude pulled a gun on some in a Luby's parking lot for cutting him off. Ron might be a bully on the court, but Max was a straight G no matter where he was.......

Calvin Murphy, 5'9", 165 pounds, of Houston, is the littlest man in the NBA. equally adept at twirling batons and demolishing men a foot or more taller than himself. Last November he got angry at Boston's 6'9" Sidney Wicks, leaped to grab a piece of Wicks' Afro with his left hand, and with his right howitzered Sidney's face into a bloody pulp.

Mad Max would easily take down World Peace.

I'd take the combo of Bobby Sura and Jim Jackson.

Sura was straight up crazy and Jim was huge.
