New York Knicks. Do you know much the media is going to milk a Houston vs New York rivalry now? We're gonna be the "evil assholes" that "stole" Jeremy Lin from the "lovable" New York Knicks. First they "stole" the 94' Championship, now they "stole" Jeremy Lin. **** the media.
No. and btw, the general consensus is that Houston comes out on top in the Lin deal and the Knicks look terrible, foolish etc.
Yeah but the New York Media is attacking Lin and Morey full force. ESPN/TNT will probably milk a game or two of Houston vs. New York this season though.
The Knicks are playing the Nets first in Brooklyn. Then the Knicks are playing the heat in NYC. Maybe Christmas or Thanksgiving for the Knicks vs. Rockets.
Prediction zero ABC games. 3 ESPN Games, 2 TNT games. Obvious game is on TNT, early game. Houston at New York. I'll say here vs Denver, here vs Atlanta, on the road vs Portland on ESPN. And other game on TNT will be at home vs Oklahoma City. Sure why not.
I think Houston vs. Golden State has to be a possibility as well. Houston vs. Phoenix almost seems likely as well since Goran and Scola are former Rockets. Houston vs. Miami? Houston vs. Dallas? Houston vs. LA? Come to think of it Lin might give us more national TV games than I had previously thought.
I hope we don't play in New York early in the season. I would rather Lin and the gang get settled in, get to know each other, and grow as a team before the inevitable media circus and pressure get to him and the team.
