Thanks. I remember trying to do this last year and for some reason it wasn't working. Worked first time this year. Gracias!
Does this work with Outlook Express. I cant find "import from another program or file" in my outlook. thanks!
Any program that can import a Comma Separated Values (.csv) file can import this. It would surprise me if the Palm datebook (on your PC) did not have some kind of utility to do this. EDIT: Your Trio looks like it will import Outlook information, which probably also means that it will import from other sources. If you have an owners manual or can point me to the documentation for your calendaring software, I can find out pretty easily.
No. Outlook Express doesn't have a calendar utility so it cannot import date information. You need the full blown Outlook or you can get another calender utility (for example, http://www.download.com/Active-Desktop-Calendar/3000-2074_4-10427672.html?tag=lst-0-2 ).
Thanks for prompting me to do some more searching, here's how it works for Palm Desktop (calender)... Import the .csv file into Outlook (which I have) then export the info from Outlook to a .vcs file for Palm! I think I can do this! Thanks! edit: not so easy...still working on this. I need to figure how to convert a .csv file to a .dba or a .vcs file.
I would like to import this without it taking up calendar space or having a reminder...how would i do that?
Import the file into Outlook. Install the Palm Desktop software with the option to sync with MS Outlook. Perform the HotSync and it should take all your info such as the Calendar, tasks, memos, etc...from Outlook and place it on your Treo.
That verizon has taught u alot of stuff eh? disclaimer: aeroman used to work with me and now working for a better company....
Heh, whats up Dave. Yeah, I gotta deal with alot of Treo's now In most cases its pretty easy to sync..if youre using Outlook.
