Rockets #1 in Offense (by far) since benching Melo (27th prior)

The issues with players like Melo, MCW, Hartenstein, Clark and yes Ennis is one part lack of defense and one part (and the biggest issue with them) the lack of a high OR EVEN MEDIUM bbiq. Because our offense is so unpredictable it confuses players who lack a high bbiq. They dont know when to take the three, cut, go one on one, set a pick etc. Gary Clark is OK at defense BUT he is still a rookie and the Rockets cant afford his rookie mistakes this year when every game is a must win from here on out. Eniss should not be a starter he messes with chemistry and is always out of position and does have a high enough bbiq. The guys I mentioned should see limited minutes or should not be on the team at all. Ariza and Moute werent just great defenders and shooters they were really smart so they knew when to do the things I mentioned and how to defend without fouling. You could see Melo roll his eyes everytime someone took a contested three, he just didnt get it.IMO he was never going to buy in. He wasnt a good enough defender and was not good enough at facilitation to receive the ball as much as he wanted. The Rockets are not a low post team and its the only thing Melo remotely does an OK job at. HOUSTON WAS NEVER A GOOD FIT FOR HIM.
