He's clearly nervous, I know he testified before Congress many times but not in this political environment...he's just not used to this aggressive type of hearing.
I don't like any of it ... you know how these things go... politic is hard to watch. It's annoying as hell seeing representative doing that live. There are very few (one thing I like about AoC when she's doing questioning) that actually does their job.
Mueller is a doddering old fool at this point who clearly was just a figurehead for an investigation run by Weissman and his deputy who represented the guy who smashed up all Hillary's Blackberries
that is absolutely true and with good reason you want those with immense power accountable to elected leadership
This is kind of unfair. The report is a enormous document. When they quote something to Mueller it's a little silly to think he can accurately recall the lines of the report and say whether that's what it says. The collusion=conspiracy line is the only thing that was really weird. The rest of this is just uncomfortable and shows why he didn't want to do this. He filed a report and he's extremely cautious about not stepping outside of the lines or contradicting the report. He's killing the Democrats by not wanting making them read the report and just say "yes" or "true" or "accurate." They want him to say what's in the report. He's not going to do that. It's too big of a report for him to be able to recall all of these incidents.
Mueller must be doing much more damage to Trump and his supporters than is evident to me, based on how the Republicans in Congress and Their media machine is acting.
I agree with this observation, but I think most of the commenters who also agree are saying this speaks (badly) to his level of preparation for this hearing.
