I still see people referring to "Mueller's report". It became painfully obvious yesterday he had very little to do with the report whether his name was put on it or not. It would be better to refer to it simply as the investigation report. If anyone feels they need to attach ownership to it then it is probably much more accurate to refer to it as Weissmann's report.
I disagree but that isn't really as important as the evidence uncovered in the report. The name is a name and arguing over whether the name is or isn't deserved is trivial. The evidence showed that Trump's campaign sought and welcomed help from the Russians, praised and asked for help from a hostile foreign intel agency, lied about it to cover it up and committed obstruction of justice in an effort to stop the investigation. If you don't believe there was obstruction of justice, I invite you to point which of the three criteria for obstruction was not met.
Its a response to the russian collusion hoax, so figure out how long you have been pushing that garbage and you have your answer.
So the answer is yall have been saying it's over for at least 2 years, but it keeps being not over. And it's still not over.
Its been over. The rest of this is Dems and Russia Hoax pushers (like you) trying to figure out the least humiliating way to exit this debacle. The only thing left is to figure out how this horrible disgusting abuse of our justice department ever took place.
So let me get this straight. If a foreign autocrat regime requested meetings with subject lines explicitly stating support for a US presidental campaign, and the son of the candidate accepts the meeting and if we know of other interactions between Trump and Putin's regime before the campaign even began awere candidate Trump explicitly lied saying those meetings never happened then coincidences happen such as private correspondences of Trump's opponent's party being leaked at the most opportune times during the campaign such as the day Trump's campaign takes a major hit from a video being leaked of sexually explicit content and those leaked correspondences were obtained from said autocrat regime's state sponsered hacking, golly gee I think any sane unbiased Individual would have some rising suspicions about the content of those business meetings in Moscow and the meeting in Trump tower. Admit it. Admit that you would be screaming at the top of your BBS lungs for an investigation of those exact same circumstances occured with Obama.
And of course Mueller is **** now, once thought of as the savior is thrown aside because he can’t give them what they want and now they are trashing him. Unscrupulous mfers.
Correct. The delivery of Mueller's report may be complete, but there are separate investigations still on-going, including Stone's trial, subpoenas of trump's financial records, investigations that were moved to other investigatory bodies (eg counterintelligence). And "hoax"? The key findings of Mueller's report (and Mueller's congressional testimony) proved that russian's interfered with the 2016 election, that trump and his campaigned were aware of that interference, that trump and his campaign welcomed that interference, that trump's campaign shared polling data, messaging and strategy involving key battleground states with the russians, that trump and his campaign later lied about that interference, and that trump and his campaign's lies impeded the investigation of that interference. And that trump's campaign strategy changed to incorporate russian interference. And trump and his defenders are now celebrating these findings...
Posted this already, but since it also directly answers this... The delivery of Mueller's report may be complete, but there are separate investigations still on-going, including Stone's trial, subpoenas of trump's financial records, investigations that were moved to other investigatory bodies (eg counterintelligence). And "hoax" (or as you call it, "abuse of our justice department")? The key findings of Mueller's report (and Mueller's congressional testimony) proved that russian's interfered with the 2016 election, that trump and his campaigned were aware of that interference, that trump and his campaign welcomed that interference, that trump's campaign shared polling data, messaging and strategy involving key battleground states with the russians, that trump and his campaign later lied about that interference, and that trump and his campaign's lies impeded the investigation of that interference. And that trump's campaign strategy changed to incorporate russian interference. trump is celebrating because he doesn't care about any of the above. You seem to be celebrating because you support trump.
If there is an 'only thing left' then it's not over. I'd agree impeachment seems unlikely at this point because Pelosi ran out the clock and we're now getting too close to the next election. But America's reckoning with the history of Trump's election -- whether it was crimes committed by President Trump, or crimes committed by the Deep State to unseat President Trump -- still hasn't even really started. It's a dark period in our history regardless of which theory you ascribe to, so there is going to have to be a lot more study and investigation and arguing until some day the partisan loyalties fade and a consensus understanding of what exactly happened can finally coalesce. If in saying "it's over" you're hoping that America can now move on and let Trump finish his terms without this cloud hanging over him, that's not going to happen. We have decades still to go on this subject. I'm sure after the fall from grace of Joe McCarthy that some said "can't we just move on now" but almost 70 years later it still hangs over us. Declaring victory won't make it go away.
I do not remember ever saying it before yesterday. If you have a quote where I did, feel free to post it. But you can't. Because no such quote exists. But as of yesterday, it is over.
knew this was coming, deep staters on Mueller's team leaking to NYT about him Mueller being a doddering feeble front man was as asset for Weissmann et al to be able to run wild, but it turned into a liability when he had to actually speak. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/24/us/politics/mueller-hearings-performance.html
