A couple of convened grand jury's, so many resignations tied to Russia, working with the State's attorney generals to avoid the ability to pardon.

Yeah, I am sure there is nothing there, right? Dude is toast....just gonna take some time to tie it up in a little bow.

Oh, and a letter written by Trump about firing Comey for the Russian investigation. - Obstruction, leads to money laundering, leads to collusion - yeah, gonna be a fun ride.

The idea of opposing torture is in keeping with the character, principles, and history of this nation. Having torture and war crimes become part of this nation's foreign policy and governance is a sign that someone does not share the ideals, principles or understand the history of this nation.

Whether or not is misguided is a separate issue.

Our own army used corporal punishment in its past.

Love for country and everything else you're lumping together are separate issues

Our own army has expressly forbidden torture in their own manual, they don't want it for a number of reasons. One of them is that they know that when a soldier is captured, they torture captured soldiers are more likely to be treated worse.

That has nothing to do with Trump's love for America

I can't stand gwb or his policies. How many terrorists did Iraq piss off?

Doesn't mean he doesn't love America

Don't wanna have a torture argument

Yeah if the USA went seriously south, Trump and his fellow 1% ers could just move to their favorite tax havens. You should not doubt this for a second.

You are like the typical Trump supporter, if he was found to have committed a crime in broad day light, you would say who cares, did you even know how he have acted as a president for the last eight months?

    He is the devil.

He is the worst President by a factor of 10 of any in history, and will do historic damage if he is not run out.

He will rip this country off and line his own pockets and screw everyone else in the country.

Not to mention he is a racist - who won't call out his racist buddies.

You don't necessarily love a girl just because she lets you stick it in her rear.

Ouch, that was colorful. But yeah, along those lines, for the first time since his account was hacked by a Russian or something, I think I can support pgabs a bit, even though just with semantics.

Y'all are both right. Two Scoops loves his vision of what America means: namely, having money allows you to lie, cheat, bend rules, and whatever else to accumulate more money and get away with terrible behavior.

Meanwhile, a lot of us love an America based not just on money, but a set of principles about hard work, trying to set a good example, mutual respect, generosity, and absolute freedom. Two Scoops doesn't give a squat about that America. But the America that let's him grope women, brag about it, and STILL get elected? Oh, he loves him that America.

So, in sum: it just depends on what "America" brings to mind for you. For Two Scoops and the new owner of "pgabs" account, it means one thing. For a bunch of the rest of us, who care about things like dignity and societal progress, etc, it means something totally different.

What is interesting is he is no where close to being 1%, not even close to 10% if he is the real pg, it is like someone says to the person hitting on you, you can do better than that.

    The devil.... nah.

But he is a vehicle for the worst parts of America to exploit the weaknesses in our Democracy. What Trump represents as a vehicle is extremely dangerous to our country, and that's not an overreaction. But as a person, he's just an internet troll coward with Daddy issues. Wanting to secure our democratic institutions and literally thinking he's the devil are two different things that your side of the party didn't grasp last time around when the tables were turned.

Under Obama, Republicans thought that he would immediately shift our country to a socialist Euro modeled country that ultimately would be a dictatorship. The Hitler comparisons came out as soon as he was elected and never let up after that. Why.. who knows. Also fundamentalist Christians and right wing extremists theorized nonstop about him literally being the Antichrist and/or a demon. If you think I'm lying, I'll be happy to find many of the thousands of articles, videos, etc. Look no further than Donald Trump himself who spent years peddling conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory about how he was an impostor and a secret Muslim taking over the country.

So don't come talk to the left about how we think he is the devil. Go have a hard look at the Right and their reaction/overreaction to recent Democratic leaders and again tell me who is the sane side of the country.

Mueller gives White House names of 6 current and past top WH advisers to Trump,

Spicer, Preibus, Hope Hicks, WH Council staff members,
he expects to question in Russia probe

This request centers around these two events
    • WH's inaction on Flynn, after Sally Yates had warned the WH Council that Flynn had lied, and could be subject of blackmail by the Russians.
      • WH belatedly fired Flynn, some 12 days later, only after a WaPo article had reported on Yates' warning
    • The drafting of Fredo Trump's first response to the WaPo article about his 6 June 2016 meeting w Russians who had ties to Kremlin. It was later confirmed by WH Press Secretary that Trump had drafted the response for Fredo.
