This is a good reminder (to myself) that nobody knows what the hell Mueller has, and we need to pump the brakes and wait for him to release his findings.

• ⁠The sources are federal law enforcement involved in the Russia case.

• ⁠Smith is aware the seriousness of the claims being made by the SCO. They would like to know what is not accurate. They continue to stand by the story.

Exactly, there's no world where solid evidence of crimes committed by the president that could lead to impeachment while there is an active witch hunt going on isn't enough to get immunity from damn near any crime. Then again, people just want to believe I guess.

 

If that was true, he wouldn't be about to head to prison. He'd have traded that for immunity. I'm sure if you think about it for even a second you'll realize that.

The Buzzfeed reporter who broke the story says it's "rock solid."

Threads can have posts from as many sides as there are for an issue. It isn't like each thread is reserved for only one side.

 

The house was threatening impeachment proceedings based on the buzzfeed article.

If I'm Mueller, the last thing I want is for impeachment before my investigation is finalized.

Is everything in the bf article 100% on lock? Probably not since articles by nature are a small game of telephone. But the people behind it have serious credentials. I trust their thesis.

Mueller wants to throw the brakes on impeachment. And I don't really blame him.

This will be a very, very short lived reprieve for Trump apologists before Mueller turns back into untrustable public enemy #1 for them.
