just because you, trump and his followers operate with this kind of petty, partisan mindset does not mean that the rest of the country does as well.

 

Can someone who believes the "W1TCH HUNT!!" version of reality explain just one thing: what would account for Robert Mueller, decorated war veteran and lifelong law man and in no way a "liberal," suddenly perpetrating a "rigged witch hunt" for the first time in his long, noble career? Why would this, instead, just fit his lifelong pattern of him trying to get to the bottom of fishy activity?

It's an honest question. If one believes the "W1TCH HUNT!!" narrative, I submit to you it's a clear violation of Occam's Razor.

So essentially no one can get a fair trial. Imagine being a black defendant with a white cop and prosecutor and judge. That defendant has no chance. Let's take down the entire law enforcement and judicial system, just because trump can't tell the truth.

 

Honest answer forthcoming; from an implication of guilt AND a "campaign directed at against people or group who hold different views" then this is most definitely a "WITCH HUNT" environment. Having said that, it's not really Mueller's fault. It's the media, certain parts of the left including left leadership, left voters, influential sports and entertainment folks, a few government law enforcement folks, etc... who've irresponsibly and aggressively promoted "guilt" before "due process" and the fact that since election day it can be seen as a "collective/campaign" approach. In fact, the NotMyPresident movement, Women'sMarch (after inauguration day), "TheResistance" movement, the #Twitstance movement (the rouge social media accounts from various government offices and groups), etc... all have a well funded, collective, and coordinated approach that make it a "campaign against" which automatically makes it "WITCH HUNT." Are you going to deny the size and scope of the "organized resistance" since the shocking election AND how the "other side" would feel/interrupt said campaign?

I want to be clear because cf.net and it's posters have also changed since election day, I'm not claiming this "WITCH HUNT" is good or bad specifically only that it most definitely looks and feels like one. For the record, I think this "WITCH HUNT" is very complicated and has elements of both very good and very bad.

 

So what you are describing is not called a witch hunt, it is called a criminal investigation, whereby one is investigated after appearing to commit crimes. The enthusiasm of the investigation is not driven by partisanship or "collective/campaign" approach , but rather how convincing the appearance of crimes are, and the scale of destruction at which the malfeasor may cause before he is detained.

A witch hunt, is when a woman is falsely persecuted for a mythical characteristic, to hide an ulterior motive. Examples of this would be the Benghazi and Email Servers for Hilary Clinton.

 

Actually you just prove my point even further. I specifically described how I was talking about everything outside of the investigation and you missed it completely. You show behavioral signs of a witch hunt mob member mentality by not being to see/interpret things (my post) clearly.

I think TD has wrongly lumped the investigation with the "WITCH HUNT" but that's predictable. His fight or flight response is in overdrive due to the inundation from all sides (ala witch hunt) that from his pov it's all the same.
