http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/ne...n_ted_stevens_dies_in_plane_crash.php?ref=fpa More info there. Amazingly, he survived an earlier plane crash decades ago in which his first wife died. I think I'd have a lot of trouble getting on any type of plane if I went through that, though you don't have a lot of options living in Alaska. The father of one of Alaska's senators also died in a plane crash when he was Alaska's congressman.
I guess he expected us to Vince Foster this news and turn in to a a conspiracy or something. Anyways, RIP.
RIP... Even though both crashes were in small planes that has to be some long odds to have survived a plane crash and then end up dying in one in this age of GPS and doppler radar.
I just can't bring myself to shed a tear for this guy. So, am I sorry to hear the world is now without Ted Stevens? <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sVuqVW4rq-o&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sVuqVW4rq-o&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
