So it begins. Now Lauren Bacall http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...urce=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&dlvrit=206567
Very sad loss. It's a shame the passing of this Hollywood legend will probably be overshadowed by the Williams death (a huge loss, in itself). She was amazing.
Several acceptable reasons for this... one, Williams was much younger, it was suicide... and he's a much more contemporary name... much more recognizable to today's audience.. Bacall was 89 and died of natural causes...
I don't know if it's Brian Dennehy or Marla Gibbs; but the next three are Honky Tonk, Flying Burrito and the Birdman.
umm... do you even know who she is?? why dont you just list all the names from today's newspaper's obituary while you're at it....
Not really what I'd call tragic .. She lived a very long life and like the James Garner quote was something like " the purpose of life is to grow old so I consider getting old winning at life " RIP
Another loss, but at least, like Jim Garner, she had a long, full life. Bacall captured the public's attention and Bogart's heart with her first role in To Have and Have Not. The chemistry between the two was incredible. 70 years later and the film still holds up, a true classic and one of my favorite adaptations of Hemingway's work. I'm getting tired of this. :-(-
Are you high/daft or actually that stupidly arrogant that you'd presume I didn't know who she was before I posted this? Man gtfoh and go have several seats before quoting one of my posts and asking me dumb clown questions.
My younger brother had a birthday party at Physical Whimsical back in the early nineties and one of his classmates got him a joke issue of People Magazine; I don't remember what the title was but the byline was "all of the poop that's fit to scoop," and it was all pictures of dogs. One of the dogs was named Lauren Barkall.
R.I.P. Que En Paz Descanse. Dude, that's not right. Why would you want to say a thing like that about someone who's still alive?
