Former Rocket John Johnson passed away. While with the Rockets he may best be remembered for being traded by the Rockets. He was originally dealt to the Celtics for 2 second round draft picks. Due to contractual issues after the Celtics acquired him, Boston wanted to renege on the trade. The commissioner did rescind the trade, but allowed the Rockets to keep the 2 draft choices. Later the Rockets traded him to the Sonics for two more second round draft choices.
