At age 90. One of my all time favorites. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/don-rickles-dead-legendary-comic-was-90-720153
I mostly just saw him when he appeared on talk shows. But, man he had a mouth. I need to go watch some of his stuff. RIP
Just another blow in a bad week for me personally. He and Robin Williams were the only 2 comedians guaranteed to make me laugh. I'm gonna hoist one for ya today Mr. Rickles...aka Mr. Warmth. Rest in Peace
He was amazing. Always great, and seemed like a really solid guy. I know he and Bob Newhart were good friends and their families would vacation together. RIP
Amazing guy, clearly loved by many of his peers. I wound up in a Rickles rabbit hole today. Watched lots of youtube stuff and even Casino. Guy always puts me in a good mood.
To Frank Sinatra, while performing at a club in 1957: "Make yourself at home, Frank. Hit somebody." Priceless RIP
I loved listening/watching this guy on re-runs of shows as a kid. One of the greatest ever, and hysterical when doing roasts without being outright vulgar. Thank God for video ... he'll be missed but not forgotten.
I grew up with this kid. I put Richard Pryor and George Carlin with him as originators of different styles of comedy. Not enough Don Tributes on here:
Not only was he hilarious, but he had a great knack for skewering someone without being dirty or vulgar. If you listen to some of the stories about him, apparently he was also one of the kindest, nicest men in Hollywood and everybody truly loved him.
