I can see Rubio having success in San Antonio. I could see him having a lot of success in Golden State.

He would be a horrendous fit in Houston, though. And he is a terrible fit for that Wolves team too.

Besides the fact that Minnesota would go from a bad defense to a Fringe top 10 defense?

Besides the fact that golden state would go from a top defense to an average defense?

Besides the fact that defenses would rather let rubio control the ball rather than curry or Durant so they could cheat off the rubio and play tight on them 2 and force or dare rubio to shoot?

Besides the fact if he was on the court while curry or Durant was the ballhandlers and they could cheat off rubio to double?

Besides the fact every team would rather let rubio control the ball over curry or Durant if presented with a choice?

Besides the fact that they golden state would losing all interior defensive integrity?

Besides the fact even if you had rubio he would come off th3 bench at best and thus limit Livingstons effectiveness?

Besides the fact that spot up shooting from the 4/5 position is world's different than the pg position?

Besides the fact they're is a dploy while the other is above average?

Besides the fact that Draymond presents a different wrinkle being able to pass from the frontcourt rather than the traditional pg spot?

Besides the fact that you just make **** up?

Besides the fact that even if you were to be proven wrong you would just reply with "you don't understand"?

Besides the fact that even after being further questioned upon said knowledge you would say "your not paying attention"?

Besides the fact your full of yourself and when questioned or rebutted you act holier than thou?

Besides the fact that there is 30 teams in the NBA who want Draymond and only one team has rubio and are trying to trade him for nothing?

30% from a big man PF is respectable, it's just enough to count him as a stretch PF since he also does other things and in Green's case he actually spends most of his time in paint this season.

30% from a pg is laughable, it means he has a broken ass shot and barely getting by. Rubio takes just 3 three point attempts a game, his percentage is such a small sample size it's almost meaningless. On a team that badly needs 3 pt shooting since KaT and Wiggins like to stay in the paint why can't he shoot more 3s? It's because he has a broken J and he is scared of shooting.

This is positionles basketball. Using your theory, Green should be averaging 17 a game and 3 assists because, you know, he's a big man.

30% is 30%. Doesn't matter whose hands it comes out of. What makes the difference is Draymond only has to tak that shot occasionally because Curry, Klay, and KD are so good at shooting the bball that Green is essentially the fourth option. And because the defense has to account for those three, Green can usually bully a drive to the rim, or post up on a mismatch or occasionally lay a 30% three ball go.

Shame on you for being so radical that you attempt to explain away the presence of three hall-of-fame ballers who happen to be three of the best shooters of all time, two of which can also make a play off the dribble and get a great look over any defenders playing alongside a glue guy.

Just stupid. You put Rubio on the Warriors and he'd average about 14 assists and about 12 points with a TS over 60. Just stupid that you refuse to acknowledge that difference and that you try to tag him as a poor defender. You don't know what you're talking about.

Saying a pf not being a good 3 point shooter and a pg not being a good 3 point shooter is the same thing is complete bull ****. Especially a guy who can guard at least 4 positions. I honestly didn't think @basketballholic was this dumb lol

That's kind of misleading man. Draymond took a step back this year after hitting 39% the year before and 34% the two years prior. Rubio hasn't been close to 34% since his rookie year.

Don't you be dumb. It depends on who is around the two players add to how important their shooting is. Not what position they play.

I'd say shooting is more important from the guard position than the center position but I guess I'm just dumb

About a 2. It's not based on anything recent. It's based on knowing MDA (and Daryl) like Rubio and we tried to trade for him in the past, and the mere fact that Harden is now willing to accept another playmaker.

However I remain unconvinced that Harden would want Rubio. Rubio doesn't run with nor hang out with the boyz in the off-season. Rubio guess back to Spain. Harden likes guys that he shares background with. He shares no background with Rubio and he does with Paul.
