So how about we hire Larry Brown instead when JVG's contract is up?

I really worry about too many chefs in the kitchen with this one. Pritchard's had 12 months, and done a good job. Let him go, for once. To say nothing of the endless rumors that will no doubt follow regarding McMillan; even with Nate's contract (and the great job he's done).

I am not a Larry Brown fan, frankly I think he's overrated.

Anyone know what happened with Patterson? Portland did really well in the draft I think. I hated to hear about Lamarcus Aldridge' heart condition.

Portland is doing well rebuilding-I'm certainly not a fan of Steve Patterson-but this team seems to be making progress- though I have no idea if Patterson should get any credit...

Most signs point to him being behind the awful 2005 Draft, and not behind the awesome 2006 Draft.

**** LB and his skipping town ass.

He's the last guy I want to coach our team. He abandons all the franchises he's involved with. No thank you.

Kevin Prichard was behind the 2006 draft. Pritchard also wanted to draft Chris Paul over Martell Webster but was overruled. Patterson's contract was just about up and he asked for an extension. When the owner didn't committ, Patterson quit. he saw the writing on the wall anyway. he was not very popular in Portland.

Be careful from what you've read by Canzano, apparently. He's just about the lone source out there that says anything to the contrary of "Pritchard was just as much behind Webster-over-Paul as Patterson was." Spot on with everything else.

This year, Rick Adelman plays a slower paced game than JVG, at a less efficient rate. Why people think he's an offensive genius is beyond me. Sorry but it's 2007, not 1999 or 1992.

Are you talking about as an assistant to his son's or daughter's high school team, because that's where he's coaching this year.

apologies Jackie, I have you on the ignore list and don't read most of your posts (though I did read this one) because you tend to kind of suck ass on the internets.

Yeah, right, you had to add the "though I did read this one" as even you noticed the contradiction in your post, LOL.

    Is that you, Sham Fisher?

It's funny how SamFisher lashes out at others all the time, but then claims he had a one-time brain fart, when the truth is that he has been under the belief that Adelman coaches the Blazers for at least a month.

Of course, he was already corrected back then, which did not stop him from continuing to spew the same nonsense.

Everyone can be wrong once in a while...but when ignorance is coupled with arrogance (accusing DaDakota of "delusions and misconceptions" in the very same post in which he is displaying his ignorance), it deserves to be called out.

SamFisher, once again you have been
