I think now is the best time for all of us fans to thank Adelman and Morey for what they've done. Morey did a great job with all those trades, the biggest of that was aquiring Adelman. Adelman did a great job as well, leading a team with slow offense to a fast motion offense, bring a team that is below .500 to the team with the fourth best record. Doing it without Yao and without Mcgrady early in the season.

We have to look at all the other teams now, Mavericks, Heats, Knicks. Tons of coaches are retiring or being fired right now. Avery Johnson is gone, Isiah Thomas (of course), Pat Riley (definately) and there are rumors now that Mike D'Antoni plans to step down.

These teams, both made desperate mistakes to win this season. These teams traded away their future and invested everything to this year. Mavericks dugged themselves a huge hole, and so did Suns.

These teams probably won't be as lucky as us. Their new coach won't probably be as good as ours. We are damn lucky to land on Adelman, and we're damn luck we got Daryl Morey.

Rick and Daryl are the perfect combination. Daryl found the talent, and Rick is developing them. They get credit for what Landry, Scola, and Brooks are doing right now and will do for the next couple of years.

and just think, Clyde Drexler said they have installed only a fraction of the motion offense. He said it took them 2 years or so to fully get it as a team in Portland. This really is good because next year we are only halfway there in understanding the full motion offense but I expect our record to be better next year with a fully healthy squad but we must absolutely play Yao less to preserve his body.

I'm very excited to see what morey will do with Bobby's expiring. I think there will ALOT of movement this off-season and next deadline.
