What are you talking about? I'm not saying he's still good as in all star good when he was younger on nets??? I mean good like Miller, Carter, Allen type of production, and for a minimum contract that's a steal.
A 40% 3 point shooter is the same on any team. Whats the difference between Allen being on the Heat last season and Jefferson being on the Jazz? Nothing except who's passing them the ball, both Allen and Jefferson stood on the 3pt line last season. One of them was getting a pass from Lebron and wade, the other getting passes from Burke and Hayward. I would argue a player like Allen and Carter had it easier last season with superstars like James, Dirk drawing double teams to get them open shots. All Jefferson had was Hayward.
Lol yes and no. The Mavericks don't suck they are a playoff team (barely), but my point is these signing aren't putting them over the top. Like lets say if lets say Spurs signed Harris, Jefferson for cheap deals, people would talk about how much of a steal they got for signing even more productive role players so cheaply. Those players would make the Spurs even more scary, nobody's scared of Dallas no matter how many steals they get for role players, its not relevant.
