Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by Ottomaton, Oct 10, 2014.

?

I'll take...

  1. Kostas Papanikolaou

    67.8%
  2. Thomas Robinson

    4.8%
  3. Patrick Patterson, dammit! (Carl Herrera option)

    27.3%

If he plays well then potential is gone and talent is delivered.

Portland offered him an extension, but he said no for $$ reasons (more like $$$$$$ it's about 5m a year difference)

They both sucked tonight. Robinson was worse, though.

without trading robinson we couldn't have signed dwight. so the option is robinson or dwight and papa. i'll take the second option.

Dwight helped the team get a decent playoff run before getting crushed. Patrick Patterson also got his team to the Conference Finals before they got crushed.

In the battle of who stayed in the NBA longer, I guess Thomas Robinson wins. Great college player, poor NBA conversion unfortunately. I liked the things he was good at, but the NBA exposed him. Kostas just turned the ball over too much and scored at such a low percentage. Creative player though, both fun to watch. Revisiting this thread makes you think, was this a debate worth having back then?

I like this Robinson pickup for anyone looking for a plugin rebounder, but he makes no sense with the Celts.. dude has taken like 6 three pointers in his career. I wonder how coach Brad would use him?

Sad to think of all these young PFs since Scolandry was gone. None of them worked out for us. Now we ended up with Ryan 80M Anderson!

Revisiting this thread makes me appreciate how good regular season Harden is.
