Since that would likely mean our qb was actually good ( i said likely) then yes I would take the media scrutiny and hype. I am speaking as a fan however, and strictly from that point of view. Apparently, the owners/managers disagree.

    I do, yes.

But what about Clowney and Bortles?

Funny thing is we could have had Clowney & (whichever QB besides Bortles) if they wanted them bad enough but I guess we settle for Clowney & Fedoraidgjhnhwicz

I think we'd have had to give up way too much for that to make it worthwhile.

Did Carr do well in his first preseason game?

If only we'd signed Jimmy Clausen, he had a good first preseason game this year.....

This is starting to go like the VY days. We are going to harp on JFF and personally I think he is not going to be good in the NFL. I said the same about VY and we all saw how that worked out.

I just don't see JFF being that good in my opinion. At least on the NFL level.

Could have had Teddy, instead we settle for a known failure as a QB (fitzpatrick).

We didn't want Teddy....and so far there's no reason to think that we should have wanted him.

That wasn't my intention; I was just curious to gauge the interest level people had in the Manziel circus. It didn't really have much to do with what happens on the field (since he'll be heavily covered, regardless).

Oh yeah, having a media spotlight on this dung heap of a team (or what appears to be one) sounds like a grand ol' time.

Right now, the only f*** I give about Manziel is that I actually hope he wins the job and Cleveland decides to put Hoyer on the trade block. Texans would hopefully trade for him.

But yea, I would have loved it.
