Here are his McHale posts. He suggested that McHale is on a short leash and has another year to prove himself:

Everyone knew Thibs was on the way out...

If it's true then I have my money on Vogel, Spolestra, Fish or Carlise

Somewhere out there a GM is going, "Great. Now I'll keep my coach, just to spite that wormy sunovabitch Sheridan."

If Codman said something, Wittman makes a lot of sense. Considering Codman has close ties to Nene.

I doubt it's McHale because Morey will try to get Love...so Cod saying one more year to learn on the job makes sense in more that it's one more year to use McHale's recruiting services :p

He didn't say anything about other coaches. The other posters were referencing his comments on McHale which I quoted above.

Kevin McHale made the adjustment that the team needed: He got them to play harder.

Not to say that he won't be replaced-- Morey is always looking for ways to improve the team, right?-- but not right away, especially not with Kevin Love being a free agent that the Rockets may chase and Kevin McHale having a good relationship with Love.

Ummmmmmm, I'd normally agree with you but I'm beginning to wonderf if perhaps we're not going after Love so hard. Especially after Clutch's writeup today including Marc Gasol in our wish list. The truth is Gasol is a better player than Love right now. And perhaps Morey is going to seize the moment, hire Thibs and go full bore after Gasol. Thibs' offense would incorporate Gasol at the high post incredibly well.

And the D.....Thibs is very tempting right now.

What do the Rockets do with Dwight in this scenario?

Sorry to be a bit off-topic, but coaching will only get you so far. As great JVG was, the Rockets never made it out of the first round with him. McHale isn't the best coach the Rockets can get, but they weren't going to beat the Warriors even if they had Doc Rivers on this team. Clippers had Doc Rivers and still lost to the Rockets, who are coached by the Rockets.

Morey's career going to have a huge test this summer on how he can improve the team. Get the right players then fire him if he doesn't give the right results with a better team. I love Dwight, but I find it hard to believe that he can carry a team offensively. Does he want a bigger role as far as getting more touches? He turned the ball over quite a bit whenever he had the ball.

Derek Fisher. He needs to be fired. Then re-hired, just so he can be re-fired.

There's been speculation about Wittman although that may have cooled off a tiny bit after the playoffs. So I wouldn't say that's a real surprise.

The Vogel suggestions make some sense.
