    You realize if the owner cares about the city and team they never sell


    Jerry Bus could have easily made billions selling the Lakers but he never did
    To the grave he was the owner


    But then you have dumb fans here thinking Les cares about anything except his two billion dollar check

    the root of the story remains the same. people are trying to put their own spin on it hoping they come out correct. wrongggggggg. next.

    i dont think anyone is naive enough to think there wasn't tension in the season. that's completely normal but these guys didnt' talk for two months. gtfoh LOL

    cant wait for the awards show next week so they can laugh at everything infront of everyone

    people love being dramatic. said it in the cp3 refutes the story thread that it would be boring and way less traffic bc theres no fake rumors. put it next to the thread of cp3 wants out by yahoo and theres just no comparison in pages.

    You are taking it too far. Les bought this team back in '93 and built a back to back championship team. Maybe it's you that fancies Shanghai and it's mega airports.

    Les built nothing. He bought a team that had a championship-ready roster and a championship-caliber new coach, then stepped back and watched them win two titles. After that, he decided we needed new uniforms. That's about it for Les until about a decade later.

    The entire 94 was built by GM Steve Patterson under owner Charlie Thomas

    I’m a die hard Rockets fan
    I’ve never seen a fan base so uneducated about their team history ever

    obviously it’s Les that’s mostly to blame by having his face all over the murals back in the day

    Cheap Leslie Alexander acquired Chris and (19 days later announced he was selling) then sold high when he saw the bill that was coming.

    Technically, Les left with 6 trophies....2 NBA and 4 WNBA trophies.

    My question is, what will happen to the trophies after Les Alexander dies...is he going to be buried with them? They will probably end up on Ebay someday. I wish Les had left all of them with the Rocket organization and new owner.

    Thank you to Guy V. Lewis for recruiting Olajuwon out of Lagos, Nigeria, warmly welcoming him to the city of Houston, and helping develop the Dream that would build Clutch City.

    Also, lets hope the Hall of Fame treats Rudy T. better than Guy and doesn't make him wait until he's on death's door before electing him.
