Predictable. I admitted to making a joke in poor taste in the old thread before and now I am reviled for making a post here in this thread upon the news of his demise.

So much disgust for me? POS? It sounds like you're a bit obsessed with me, considering you for someone you don't even know me behind the computer screen.

Please darling, do get over me. Your infatuation is simply unbecoming.

This is my last response to a post by you....
It is not cool, funny, etc. to make jokes about a person that has gone missing. I have disgust for people that can hide behind their computers and make jokes about others, especially in a very serious situation. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for you on how to be decent.

WRONG. He obviously made that crack not realizing how serious it was. He even said he would apologize if he is missing after 5 days, and it had already been 6 days. He obviously didn't read the short article, and thought he could get a few rep points by making an inappropriate joke.

He realized how serious it was and he vanished from the thread.

    RIP Lorenzen...

This is why you do not crack jokes about a missing person.

    Disgusting...

I admitted to having poor judgment in making the joke. What more do you want me to do? Do you want me to march up to his family and express my deepest condolences for making the joke?

Because I'm absolutely sure that's what they'd want right now. An apology for a joke made on an internet basketball forum instead of the identity of the murderers. Yep.

If the fact that I said it from behind a computer is what bothers you so much, we can meet up and I can repeat the joke verbatim to you in person if you'd like.

As to my previous post....If you're committing suicide...why do it in the middle of the woods? If you know you're going to end your life, why do it where it will take longer for your family to find you...emotionally, being missing for as long as he was...then this, can be too much for a family.

I know if someone close to me is missing...an hour is too long

Problem is that you are not sorry you made a joke. You are simply accepting that it isn't the norm to make a joke but you would do it again (especially if there wasn't such a backlash against you). Your second statement is proof of that.

A simple...."My bad all, I shouldn't have joked about it." would have done.
