YAO is from CHINA???

 

Chinese players like Yao falling apart? That's what happens when the Chinese players don't get their quality products, like the Anta shoes, instead of being eqipped with Western trash like Reebok.

 

To me you can explain the article in both ways. You can say it uses Chinese players as a metaphor for products, but you can also understand it as using flimsy Chinese products to describe the Chinese players.

Doesn't matter, we'll find out the REAL quality of both Chinese players and products in August 2008 Olympic game.

If you read the onion a lot you knwo its not making fun of Yao or Yi as much as it is about cheap chinese products. I would assume many of you don't read the Onion since it is out of Milwaukee but I do.

well yao did injury alot these past few seasons as for Yi, he played a whole season of CBA, went to the championships, then came to US tried out and then went to draft, then go back to china participate in more games, and now he is back here playing 82 more games, in aug he will have more games in olympics and after that ends a month later, his 2nd nba training camp is starting. I bet you big o' ford trucks thats made to be tough can't run like this.

 

Well, chinese products is cheap and of low quality. So what to complain about? Isn't that suppose to be so? You pay less and get worse stuff, fair enough! BTW, there are lots of things of high quality from China too. The problem is that people seldom care where a product was made in when it works properly. Due to the huge volume of chinese products, people seem to meet many low quality products from china. But they forget that there are more high quality products from china.

You know what's funny is that the players who are actually being mad fun of in the article are American players, but you don't see anybody complaining about that; "unreliable, unrefined, and occasionally malfunction and shoot someone."

 

someone can't afford high quality products at all, what can they do but complain?
