My gut tells me that

1. Next summer has now become what this summer was supposed to be if KD and Klay were healthy.

2. This summer has become basically a preparation for next summer by many teams.

3. Jimmy loves options.

4. Jimmy likes to gamble on himself.

5. Jimmy knows he can make more money long term if he only commits for 2 seasons (with player opt out of yr 2) and stays healthy with his full bird's rights rather than sign a 4-5 year deal now.

6. Jimmy doesn't like to play with immature kids.

7. Jimmy wants his usage to be 1a or 1b at worst.

8. Jimmy and James are jiving.

9. Jimmy and Cp3 have matching personalities.

10. Jimmy and Tucker have matching personalities.

11. We're angling for a third star without cap room that requires a trade.

12. Jimmy knows this team gives him the best chance of winning a ring next year.

13. We tried to get him early in the season.

14. Philly has serious issues if him Tobias and JJ walk on them.

15. The leaks have mostly all been totally bogus.

16. Now haters that are insiders are making up total bs. Goodwill has a running beef with both Butler and Harden.

I mean.......add it up.

My gut says he's coming. And that's not based on any insider info. It's based on these facts and the lack of real insider info. Morey ain't leaking. That tells me game on.

So my gut says he's coming. But I'm not saying 99% because i haven't been told that. Everything we've been told, the whole public discourse, is about Jimmy taking 5 years now and Jimmy opting out to sign 4 years elsewhere or to try to force a sign- and- trade elsewhere, Jimmy going to LA, the Nets, the Knicks, everywhere but here where he's got the best chance to win it all next year.

I am the only one that I know of that has pointed out Jimmy's history, how he gambled on himself in Chicago, how he gambled on Thibs (and lost) by not accepting the supermax from Chicago and forcing a trade to minny where Thibs had the opportunity to renegotiate his deal and max him out before they maxed KAT.

Jimmy is a different breed bro. That's why he has steadily gotten better clear up to age 30 after coming from NOWHERE to the basketball universe.

Because he has been so unconventional throughout his career, because he bets on himself constantly, because he wants to win rings as a primary player, and lastly because he knows nobody is wanting to embrace him more than his hometown....

Yes, I think he's coming.
