    I believe holic is a retired man so has plenty of time at his disposal. Kudos on reaching retirement. I also believe this is mode of operation:

    1. Rummage all over the internet using his free time including sites such as insidehoops, bleacher report, realgm etc to find anything NBA related
    2. Carefully dice and slice all that info. to try and come up with something remotely passable for the Rockets (to his credit he does have some cap knowledge)
    3. Write long essays here while name dropping about 10 players and 5 teams in each post (this is while subtly hinting that he inside connects and has discussed the events with cyberx and codman)
    4. Hope some sucker believes him so he can direct them to his insider newsletter
    5. Profit $$$

    PS: When he is proven wrong (almost always), either double down or triple down, sight #fluidity or just ignore everything and start another thread

    I love his dedication. One day you will be right, holic.

    I think the Thunder will likely find a way to skim by. But it's going to cost them. They've got to give away somewhere around 18 million of existing salary. That's going to cost them. And they don't have a first round pick to trade until 2024.

    Work through the possibilities. Match up the trade exceptions with the teams, examine their salaries.... and look at their committed rosters. Then match up with the possible teams that will take on Grant and Robertson or Shroder and Ferguson and tell me what they are going to require.

    The Thunder are up a creek.

    76ers need size because bucks and Raptors are big........eh? That's laughable. Totally idiotic. But you obviously can't see it. This thread will be fun to go back to. Elton Brand is going to get fired. And Philly is going to have to rebuild after mucking it up in the middle of the pack for several years. What they did is r****ded.

    Pretty decent theory. My theory is that he's a sports gambler, and he tries to pass off his other gambling buddies as "insiders." I've met some avid sports gamblers through a buddy of mine that plays poker professionally, and they all seem to fit the same type of mold as 'Holic. Arrogant, brash, believe they know something you don't, think they can key in on motivations of GMs and players perfectly, it's all there honestly. But who knows? Jopat is an enigma wrapped in a quandary wrapped in an alternate username.
