WB’s best assets are his mentality and his athleticism which gives him to the unique ability to break a game open at just about any facet of the game on a given night...he’s neither Mr. Consistent nor Mr. Efficient but he is for better or worse Mr. Dynamic...hopefully MDA and Harden can inspire the better side of that dichotomy...I think the lack of such traits is the common stains on both of their legacies
@45koolly I don't know what that reply was supposed to be, but I'm gonna go ahead and give you your first like fam.
Lolol...preciate u my boi. lolol...preciate u my boi...was replying bout Russ basically being compared to a high volume Marcus Thornton...using only #s doesn’t give Brodie’s value justice
You need a little more practice with the posting skills, but you'll get their buddy! And yeah I know WB has way more value then Thornton, but Thornton was actually a low key ball hogging beast.
Seems like a bit of a corny stat, but ok, I'll join in on the feel-good feelings before the season starts. If you want to play around with "clutch" shooting stats, NBA.com has such a stat and you can see what the FG%, scoring, etc. are for players in those situations. You an adjust clutch to being within the last "x" minutes of a game, too. Adjust the filter and criteria to whatever you want. Just don't look at Russell's FG% in clutch situations : https://stats.nba.com/players/clutc...Totals&ClutchTime=Last 3 Minutes&CF=FGA*GE*25
The one where Adams misses the free throw on purpose and hits it back to westrbook for the game winning 3 would be awesome if it wasn't against us
Well James has brain farts the longer the postseason. Hopefully Brodie will take the shots we thought CP3 would cover.
This is the part of Westbrook's game that makes me cringe as a Rockets fan. How many games will he shoot us out of with terrible shots ?
So looking at more numbers for the under 5 minutes last season: 109 Ortg with him on the floor, +0.9 NetRtg. 39.0% eFG, 49.3% TS%. 17-18: 105 Ortg, -2 NetRtg, 44.6% eFG, 48.6% TS% 16-17: 117.9 Ortg, +24.4 NetRtg, 49.7% eFG, 56.9% TS% 15-16: 106.5 Ortg, -6.5 NetRtg, 41.7% eFG, 51.5% TS% His overall TS% and eFG% in those seasons for comparison : 18-19: 46.8% eFG / 50.1% TS 17-18: 47.7% eFG / 52.4% TS 16-17: 47.6% eFG / 55.4%TS 15-16: 48.9% eFG / 55.4% TS 16-17 was an outlier year. His shooting last season was really bad, TS% is salvaged by FT's, though intentional fouling skews how much that is telling us. Not the best shooting from the field down the stretch, but he's not the best shooting from the field in general .
with these kind of stats, I would prefer if he was less clutch. As in don't shoot! I am afraid of what my eyes will see this season.
I saw 9.5 minutes of the I saw 9.5 min of this video & the majority of his clutch points came from the 3 point line... It's obvious Russ' 3 point percentage is sh*tty in the first 41 minutes... Is it clear to say he's a legendary 3 point shooter in the last minute of the game?
