I want Sessions. Wouldn't be mad at Blatche, Jason Smith or Okafor.

    Brooks, Marion, Oneal

I really want Marion. Overpay him to get 1yr+team option.

Would love Brooks to come back, but with the way his career has been treated here by Morey, I don't think a 1yr+player option is in his best interest. :p

Hire billups as an assistant/backup pg. we really need more veterans on the team last year.

I think we should sign Jameer Nelson, Andre Blatche, Brandon Rush, and Stiemsma. I would love to add Billups and Kenyon Martin but only at the veteran minimum.

Fredette can likely be had for cheap. I would think he would be jumping at the chance to come to the team that shot the most 3's in the league.

A 49% shooter from behind the arc.

With him and Daniels and Ariza, we could be dangerous.

Depends on what "assets" we are talking about. There are some that teams will likely trade away for practically free (in exchange for the dreaded top 55 protected 2nd rounder or something) maybe even pay a price to trade them for the salary/cap relief if the incentives line up (see, Lin, Jeremy).

I don't think Chuck Hayes or Tyler Hansbrough would cost much in assets, for example. Toronto has Valanciunas, Amir Johnson, Patterson, Hayes and Hansbrough all on the roster and can't really use them all in a significant role.

How about Andrea Bargnani? NYK has money, but he is owed $11M and they are above the tax-line with the returning Melo. So, would they not give him away for free, or even give up something to do so, if it saves them almost $30M?

We're talking ~$7M+BAE for all three. Not going to get stars or even starters, but we need experienced, quality depth. Those 3 give us that IMO.

Its a lot of quality guys on the list to be had. The rockets can really add quality, veteran depth to this roster.

This is all true, but he is in the last year of his contract, so the unruly contract the Kings gave him (and which i am glad the Rockets did not try to outbid, even though I love Hayes) won't be a problem.

    Brutal list of free agents.

Smith and Bayless. At least Smith is tough and can shoot. Bayless can shoot, we will need ball handling and he can keep the ability to go small.

This bench is going to be pretty sad.

Am I stupid for looking at that list and thinking that Byron Mullens is the name that stands out to me? If not him, I'd love to bring in Jason Smith.

I wonder how plausible getting Llull would be at this point. The posts on CF make him an intriguing prospect. Just read about Mirotic 3yr/17m deal and thought about him. Both Real Madrid players.

For the other positions, Marion, Blatch, and possibly getting a steal in Okafor.
