My mom made the mistake of actually talking to the Jehova's Witnesses 3 years ago, they still knock on her door and she's too polite to tell them to stop. So she takes their pamphlet and says "thank you". It's the same lady(s) every time, once a month.

Those ****ers are persistent, I'll give them that.

 

i've spoken to jehova witnesses before in my driveway. we exchanged ideas on religion and they went on with their merry way shortly after. gained understanding, no one was converted, nothing but good to say.

The largest Christian student group used to specifically seek out foreign students and would always try to get them to come to their meetings. At the time I thought it was a pretty shitty strategy to target them like that, but from the born-again Xtian perspective it's actually a very nice thing to do since they're saving them.

 

During the summer I was watering the grass not really looking around and suddenly I see a pair of bike tires right in front of me, it's the god-squad; I told my self to not shut them down, to listen to what they had to say. So lots of nervous small talk, I keep thinking "ok, when are they gonna cut to the freaking chase here, what's the end game kids..." They were both really young like late teens early 20's; they ask about my thought on faith and Jesus and soon I tell them I'm not comfortable talking to them about this. So they ask if they can leave a pamphlet with me and I say no. They both get really pious and mad, I can see them passing judgment on me, looking down on me. I cannot explain the nasty feeling I got from them as I walked back inside and they just stood there watching me walk all the way down my drive way.These MFER's have never even lived a life AT ALL, how dare you pass judgment and look down on me JUST bc I don't share your views. GTFO.
